The Quarantine Does Not Bother Him

Rating: 5.0

He is getting fat
on the food that
I provide for him.
He doesn't know that
I am the one. When the
starlings come, he hides
behind the trunk of
the apricot tree.
When they depart, he
reappears again.
He's Dryobates
pubescens, also
known as the downy
woodpecker, smallest
in the continent
of North America.
