The reason

Now that i have your attention on PH
Go to the dining hall eat at the DH
Then all come seat in front row
This story makes poet friends know
I must warn you though
This story is just one of more

I know some will think my head has grown big
Now needs to be supported on a grand rig
On the contrary
I am just contemparary
Expressing that which i see
Hoping to set someone free

Sharing emotions when i feel them
Bringing things out when i feel "damn! "
"Hmmmm.....i never thought of that"
A eureka moment even a mind blast
So sit back fellow writers and read
Witness this most profound poetic deed

Are you poets around the world comfortable?
Have you put your phones on silent on the table?
Are you sitting in the front row?
Have you come with your sis or bro?
Your spouse or your significant other?
The under age poets with your mother?

The show is about to start
Confessions straight from the heart
"It's gonna be rhyming with fire"
"And you can't make me feel tired"
I have chosen this moment to speak out
To avoid the stress of having to shout

What i want to tell you is not new
I am sure you have experienced you, you and you
Why we write poetry
Leaving our home in Coventry
To come fellowship with others
Like we are sisters and brothers

Well, this is what i want to tell you
Why i write poetry through and through
But, before i do do that my friend
I don't want disappointment at the end
Because the reason i want to share,
is i love poetry and thats the reason there.
