The Rest Of My Life Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

The Rest Of My Life

Rating: 5.0

F-or the rest of my life
L-et me serve the Almighty;
A-ll my days will be spent
V-ery well to be worthy.
I-n God I will put my trust
A-ll my life till the very end;
N-ovember fourth morn
O-n my knees I will bend.
R-unning to the finish line,
E-very move I make is sure;
N-either foot will go astray
O-n treading toward future.

V-iewing what lies ahead
A-llows me to keep the faith;
R-egardless of tribulation
G-lorious gift make me wait.
A-s long as I live I pray to the Father for His love;
S-aying that I will go on waiting for grace from above.

L-et me worship the Lord
E-ven during hardest time;
Y-es,I will glorify Him
N-o matter what is the clime.
E-ven though the wholeworld is in chaos and in strife;
S-hall I remain in His arms for the rest of my life.
