The Rose - Poem by Sylvia Fourness

Make no mistake,
Of the impression it makes,
With its clors so vivid and bright,
It can take your love to a neew height,
No matter if the petals are white, yellow, or red,
There's so much to be said,
Each one accented in green,
Shows that love is defianlty seen,
Touch it to your nose and smell it deep,
For the rose itself is not forever,
But in the mind to keep.

Nice poem. Maybe I'll buy a rose for someone. (Report)Reply
