The Silence Singing Poem by Dr Sudheer Babu

The Silence Singing

Rating: 5.0

Why is it that silence,
though hollow,
feels so heavy!

Why is it that silence,
though wordless,
speaks so loudly!

Why is it that silence,
though empty,
seems so frightening!

Why is it that silence,
without lips,
smiles so brightly!

Why is it that silence,
though dark,
radiates so much light!

Why is it that silence,
without water,
flows so smoothly!

Why is it that silence,
though not sorrowful,
makes us sob!

Why is it that silence,
though still,
feels so alive!

Why is it that silence,
without eyes,
sees so deeply within!

Why is it that silence,
though colorless,
appears so beautiful!

Have you ever heard
silence sing in the
intervals of music!

Yes, there is melody in silence - the soundtrack of our lives; and this poem perfectly describes that state. Well deserving POD.

2) that silence is the most eloquent speech and most aesthetically sublime poetry is a fact. I have no hesitation to give top score to this poem.

An awesome write! Silence is our expression for various emotions. In silence we shed tear, in silence we smile or in silence we feel fear. There is no need of words.
