The Singing Bird [proverb] Sadness Poem by alan brown

The Singing Bird [proverb] Sadness

Rating: 5.0

When a small bird sings
It brings Joy to the Beholder.
But when the small bird is caged
You can only hear sadness in it's song.
It's a joy to be free
