The Song Of Life: 8. Never Have We Ever Not Been

At no time had I never been,
Nor ever wert thou never been,
Nor the chieftains hither seen,
Never shall it hence ever be
That all us here would cease to be! || 2.12 ||

Krishna explains here the philosophy of life and existence. We all have always existed as soul. It would never be that we would cease to exist, me, you, and all these kings here. Here is the transliteration and meanings of Sanskrit words:

na tu eva aham jātu na āsam na tvam na imejana-adhipāh |
na cha eva na bhaviśhyāmah sarve vayam atah param || 2.12 ||

na tu eva aham: yet, neither indeed me, but never indeed I; jātu: ever, at any time; na āsam: I was not there, I existed not; na tvam: nor you; na ime janādhipāh: nor these lords of men (kings): na cha eva (āsam) : and never indeed (they): na bhaviśhyāmah: it would not so happen (in future): sarve vayam: all of us; atah param: in future, from here and beyond, henceforth.

The Sanskrit shloka " na tu eva aham jātu na āsam na tvam na imejana-adhipāh | / na cha eva na bhaviśhyāmah sarve vayam atah param || 2.12 |" has been well translated by you in which Krishna explains the philosophy of life and existence to Arjuna. It is your generous effort for readers. Thank you dear Pathak sir for sharing this gem here.
