The stars are strewn like drops
Of tear across the dark sky of night
It is painful to watch their journey only
To get vanished in the morn's soft light

The stars are like lonely lovers
On their way to jump in to the sea
To get lost in its depth as from the pain
Of parting they can't set themselves free

The stars are like drops of dew
Strewn across the dark sky to shine
The moon is a pretty flower amidst them
And in the night they make a sight so divine
