The Unicorn's Magic Poem by Paula Glynn

The Unicorn's Magic

I had always wished for a celebration,
Where dance music plays,
And the party gets underway,
Those days of pain now laughter,

For the unicorn's magic,
Is like magic fairy dust,
Fairies sprinkling unicorn dust on me,
My sleep transporting,
Me to the supernatural world,
Of fairy land, unicorn's,
Roaming through the forest,

Myth and mystery,
Written in children's books,
For fairies live in their tiny,
Woodland houses,
Trees guarding the entryways.

Fairies bless humans,
Who pass by them in the forest,
Without realizing where unicorns roam,
For the unicorn runs at the witching hour,
Bringing sunshine and good fortune,
On all those who see,
A unicorn a rare sight,

But a word of warning:
Don't touch the unicorn,
For it'll bring you bad luck and misfortune,
So admire from afar,
And feel the unicorn's magic,
Shine down upon you,
Like a lucky star.
