The Unknown - Poem by Hanna Maria

Keep me away from those wandering eyes
I am hiding, Hiding in Disguise

All those I’ve loved, I pushed them away
So they departed, Departed in Dismay

I will never stop moving until I am free
They are searching, searching, Searching for Me

The light has gone, it is no longer day
I am losing, losing, Losing my Way

Here I stand so cold and frail
They try finding, finding, Finding my Trail

But it is too late If only I’d known
Now I’m dying, dying, Dying Alone...

Topic(s) of this poem: freedom, lost, regret

Poet's Notes about The Poem

It's good sometimes to try to find your own way but don't think you have to do it all by yourself, don't push away those that would help you
