It was a dark night, she smouldered
With the mysterious lure
Of the unknown, the untamed
Playing hide and seek with my emotions
I watched fascinated by her distant beauty
A radiant calm grace that drew emotions beyond words
I stood gazing at the full moon
Or, was she, watching me?
it's strange how we Imbue the moon with romantic and emotional powers, after all it's just a rock in space, poets make it sound like a Wondrous place... Anita such a great write... Andrew 10
Great write. I like the line about playing hide and seek with your emotions...very clever. Is that a reference about the moon being covered by the passing clouds and then reappearing throughout the night...or did I misinterpret it? Either way its intriguing. Top marks! -Michael

'Playing hide and seek with my emotions'... a beautiful poetic phrase associated with the moon imagery there...the word 'smoulder' effectively qualifying the hide and seek play...i enjoyed this write... poem ten grade
