The flood came,
And the 'Gators
Were IN the streets!
The mean, nasty Snakes,
The ones whose bites
You cannot take,
Were doing their back and forth,
Slithering down the sidewalks!
And there came my Viking Mother,
In her motorized boat raft,
Crusing down the way,
Watching Cranes pick up the fish
Who were swimming down the city streets! !
We long for sun,
And its bright, yellow, hot heat,
To return to us today,
And dry us out! !

This is written for Gregory Collins, AND his Viking Mother, in hopes that that Famous Florida Sun is shining today! !
