the thing you imagine you may achieve will never
be as good as this green day in its unfolding
the way the light creates a greener green
a green so transparent you feel you could see through
it into some eternity so why do you grieve my friend
rest in the manifold beauty God has already made for you
be still. Let the green waves shine over you as if they
were clouds and you could float there home
becoming light yourself becoming the sound of the
april leaves still young in the least wind these few
blossoms ready to fall, the colour of the moon.
