The Whispering Trees Poem by Rebecca Navarre

The Whispering Trees

Rating: 5.0

Oh, whispering trees, whispering
so quietly in the breeze. Speaking
with such great wisdom and soul.
Branches hanging oh so low.
Sheltering the animals that stop
to sleep below. Even the birds sing
of you so. For they know... Oh great
armed, protectors of all. A gift from
God, a comforting friend, a draping
shawl.

A comforting friend...a draping shawl... so true! Wonderful lines. I can see these trees in close range through this image filled poem.

Trees always bring joy to humanity. They are one of the most generous living things on earth. Always a giver. A beautiful poem with great images!
