The Writer - Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion
O-ne morn has just broken;
V-ictorious rise of the sun
Y-earns to light the darkened.
L-ife indeed is beautiful,
Y-es, it's painted with colors;
N-ew day after every night brings surprises to your doors.
A-bout to amaze you is acrostic,
G-ladly sense every lovely line;
U-ncover to earnestly etch them
I-n your heart, soul and mind.
L-et the stunning sound of song
A-rise you from deep slumber;
R-ead between the lines to enjoy the words of the writer.
