The Year 2018 Has Been Rough To Say The Least

The year 2018 has been a rough one for me
Darn, the toughest one ever, the hardest one
A year that I shall never forget.I lost honey
Butter, bread, peanuts, nuts, kisses and fun.

I am a blessed survivor; God has been daily in my corner
The Almighty protected me days and nights everywhere
I am the luckiest son of a gun strolling around out there
God is good, God is great, and God is managing my future.

I do not want to elaborate more or give ample details
I have camouflaged, disguised and played with my words
Thank God for the skills and for the way I tell the tall tales.

I thank God for the daily inspiration, and the courage to tell
It like it is. God taught me how to fight silently with the birds
And how to be patient. I am longing to hear shortly a new bell.
