A Poem for the Late Kobe and GIGI Bryant
And the others who lost their lives in the
Plane Crash in Calabasas

There's no replacing you
It's so easily to get caught
Up in our own dreams that
We chase everyday
Getting carried away
Only to get lost in the fray

Sometimes I can't always find
The right words to say because
So many crosses my mind that
It gets harder to convey
Knowing that we lose the
People we love everyday
There's no way that I can erase
All your pain even though I still
Try to do so in vain you know what
They say that we all heal in
Due time but the scars remain
Over time only to remind us of
Of our growing pains but life
Without you will never be the
Same people dying so young
It's quite a shame so many
We've lost in these few months
Just a few moment of silence

Light shines across every crystal
Pond against the dawning of the sun
Sun rays slowly kisses the cheek
And for a moment the world doesn't
Feel quite as bleak don't you find it
Unique How we can come together
As human beings in everyone's time
Of need it's the humanitarian way

As we unite in one accord Kobe may
You rest in peace along with your
Daughter GIGI I never got to say how
Much you meant to me I was a kid
Watching you on T.V. along with
Millions of your fans so many things
Happens in life that we can't
Comprehend but you taught us to
Work hard within the time that
we're given and to continue to make that
Difference You never know who you'll
Influence next so as you lay to rest
