They'Re Feasting Don'T Get Close Poem by Manonton Dalan

They'Re Feasting Don'T Get Close

that big bulging eyes
staring fruit on a tree
with little hands pick
and bury her white teeth
juice dripping; flies gather
to share new found life

nothing wasted even skin
falling to ground, ants
scramble guided by smell
bite to get edible flesh
turn those sweets to acid
and inject into your feet
