They Were Quarrelling Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

They Were Quarrelling

Rating: 5.0

When I reached there,
They were quarrelling,
I stayed there
For a long time,
When I left the place
In the evening,
I saw they were still quarrelling,
As I pondered deeply,
I could not find any reason of it,
It seemed strange to me,
I laughed and asked myself,
"Is this the harsh effect of modern time? "
