Thief Of A Heart Poem by Matthew Holloway

Thief Of A Heart

Rating: 4.5

A thief, infiltrator
sneaking into my dreams
those few hours of freedom
the rest I rarely claim
who are you to do this
to waltz into this concept world
I created, crafted and guarded
yet there you are full beautiful
with the sweetest of kisses
held in my arms
as I fall deeper into your eyes
passion betrays the dream
as you steal this heart away
once more, I yield to you
my dreams, my freedom, my heart
you thief, infiltrator
just take it all
