Things I Love Poem by Brooke Luchich

To name all the things I love about him would take me all day,
How do you describe each thing? I don’t even know what to say.
I guess the place to start would be the first time we ever met,
The way that he smiled at me is something I’ll never forget.
It amazed me at how quickly he swept me off my feet,
Every time he said my name it made my heart skip a beat.
I loved the way I got goosebumps whenever he kissed my neck,
How he always called me beautiful even when I looked like a wreck.
Total happiness was being wrapped up in his warm embrace,
And the way he always managed to put a smile upon my face.
Feeling that much love could only be described as pure bliss,
And my definition of heaven would have to be each and every kiss.
I’d never known a feeling like it and of that I was sure,
He was everything I could ever want or dream of and more.
If I could have just one wish, I know exactly what it would be,
I’d wish to go back to those days when it was just him and me.
