Thinking Far
sauteed slice bitter melons
scrambled eggs with onions
and freshly cut tomatoes
laid on lettuce; cilantro
my supper with steam rice
and a can of coconut juice
aroma makes me feel home
a thousands miles away
for every bite i reminisce
moments with my family
sharing portions of dish
with giant scoop of rice
