This, Here. Poem by Dislocated Heart

This, Here.

She with grace sang lullabies that soothes me in slumber.
tender of a kiss that led to wonders.
poetic rhymes that swoon me over..
lasting impression that I've encountered.

Sweetly with soft tales we told,
the tears that weep, slowly follow.
down our cheeks, into our hearts.
a connection born.. lasting to part.

Miracles appeared in front of my eyes,
taste of heaven, a beautiful complex design.
numerous occasions that met the standards high,
souls entwine, with drunken days fooled with decorative lines.

Revealing scar tissues,
bursting with red,
wounds patched.
hidden within stitches,
woven into my soul,
secrets of the untold.

this, here.. I stand and let go.
