This Lonely Road Poem by Allen Keith Turner

This Lonely Road

Rating: 4.8

Down this lonely road
Through life, I wander around.
Searching for someone,
Who doesn't want to be found.

Reach out my hands,
But there's no one to reach for.
It's such lonely feeling,
Like standing at a locked door.

So I carry on,
How much longer does it go?
Staring down this lonely road,
I think, I may never know!

The end of this lonely road,
is nowhere in sight.
So I promise to seek you out,
For the rest of my life!
