This Narrative Poem Will Be Short And Understandable

After hours of intense suffering on the cross,
Jesus died.
His body was already weakened
by the scourgings and mockings,
and the crucifixion itself took its toll.

In addition,
there was the severe spiritual suffering
that exhausted Him.
And yet…
Jesus' death was not an inescapable defeat.

He gave His life knowingly and willingly!
