Eat your heart out Edgar Allan Poe,
For there's a new poet on the scene.
His gothic horror delivered in spades,
Fresh tales of terror to be seen.
Dark originality does shine bright,
From this new master of the craft.
His poems alarmingly leap out at you,
So chilling one can feel a draught.
He writes themes of spectral quality,
Things that make a heart beat faster.
With his finger on horror's cold pulse,
And the aghast imagination of its master.
His great poems do read after midnight,
To be cruelly captivated when reading one.
All will never be deathly disappointed,
After reading the poems of Thomas Coston.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading your latest poem Shaun. It makes me want to read the work of Thomas Coston and his ' themes of spectral quality'...great thrase btw as is ' horror's cold pulse'. It's a very, very frightening five from me!
