Those Childhood Treasures Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Those Childhood Treasures

Rating: 5.0

In the past there was laughter,
We did silly things,
Like jumping in puddles,
Soaring high on the swings.
As children we searched,
for bright sparkling stones,
We thought they were treasures,
Getting soaked to the bone.
For we played in the rain,
Whatever the weather,
Life was a blast,
For we spent time together.
Friends we remember,
To this very day,
Memories remain,
They don't fade away.
Those days of our childhood,
That can't be replaced,
Some memories stick,
They're never erased.
