Those Many Words Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Those Many Words

A precious rose,
of splendid red.
Those many words,
I should have said.
A bright blue sky,
as clear as day.
That hopeless choice,
got in my way.
I can't turn back,
to what has been.
Regret it now,
I should have seen.
That you were special,
that is so true.
I've spent my life,
Thinking of you.
