Those Never Forgotten Days Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Those Never Forgotten Days

Rating: 5.0

Far is the past now,
Memories still here,
Gone are the loved ones,
That I long to hear,
Those voices so distant,
Those faces still clear,
Far is the past now,
Wish you were here.
Gone are the summer's,
Still fresh in mind,
Longing for days,
Left far behind,
Still is the air,
My thoughts often stay,
With memories of days I'm missing today.

Memories can be a comfort but they can also take over and cause much pain
