Thou Art Not Unkind
Thou art not unkind
Like earthly friend with sordid mind
Who will go no step to be fair
But million miles to be insincere.

Thou art not unkind
As our leaders who make us blind
They pitilessly lead
All for themselves and their greed.

Thou art not unkind
On your face we comfort find
And your merciful magnanimities
Cure us from our curses and captivities.
