Thoughts And Desires. Poem by M. Asim Nehal

Thoughts And Desires.

Rating: 5.0

Why should I bargain with death for the virtues of life
When death is ultimate and life is temporary.

The rubber band of life cannot be stretched beyond a certain point.

Wishes are like bubble burst
And it goes past the mortality

When days are filled with wonders and nights with desires
Why should we lament the departing breath.

It is not worth waiting for anything
When thoughts and desires go together.

I feel like I just walked into the hearth room of a wise and gentle man. These lines are to be taken in slowly and solemnly as words of wisdom should be. I am favoriting this so I shall return to it often and ponder on its truths. More than a 5 star poem--this is at least a thousand star poem.
