As the blue sky turns to grey,
There are words i long to say,
Words I'd love to say to you,
There is nothing i can do.
So I'll whisper to the breeze,
Maybe those words will flow to thee,
Up through the clouds and on to you,
For i still miss you through and through.
And so the sun it starts to shine,
I wish your hand was next to mine,
So i could hold it oh so tight,
We could walk from morn till night.
Maybe I'll see you once again,
In heaven's pastures who knows when,
We'll share those words i sent to you,
Through morning breeze that day in June.
