Thrown Away Poem by Dislocated Heart

do you remember how nervous i was?
do you remember how i was excited for every little thing?
do you remember that smile upon my face?
do you remember how happy i was?

well, throw that all away.
thats not me.

part of me has died.. and left my empty soul alone.

my heart is no longer in the right spot.

i walk with my head down, hands in my pockets,
rock music in my ears, black hoodie and dark jeans.

label me if you will, emo, a freak, i dont give a shit.

who are you to judge and call me names?

unless you know me, dont even think bout it.

i thrown life away..
left me a mark i will forever remember.
i walk along these streets with sorrow and pain.
life has to much pain for one to handle.
i wish i could be happy for at least one day.
