Time - Poem by Rachel Brewer
How does the time go by so quickly?
I mean, where does it all go?
I look back on the photographs I don’t remember,
But it was me.
How can the memories we gain at a young age vanish?
How can we forget them?
It only leads to regret in older age.
I wish I could remember all the times I had when I was younger.
I wish I could remember knowing the people in my photographs.
I wish I could remember something.
But I cant.
This is the reason I am asking why?
Why cant we remember if the time goes by this quickly?
They say time flies when your having fun,
But the time is gone, and I hardly remember the fun.
Isn’t that strange?
Don’t you find that odd?
The time is just gone,
And we have nothing to show for it, except for the pictures,
The pictures that we don’t remember.
