They were the years i still long for,
Those walks through the woodlands in spring.
I'd go back to those days in a heartbeat,
But time changes everything.
Those were the faces i yearn for,
Every moment,
each hour life brings.
I search for their smiles in my dreams each night,
But time changes everything.
Where are those souls that loved me?
That once made my heart want to sing.
They drift with the thoughts of my childhood,
For time changes everything.
