Time Passed Us By
Side-by-side we sit
In the movie hall
Though hand in hand
But the mood is peculiar.
Hands entwined, hearts scarred
The picture looks perfect
But the story is all wrong.
Holding on, yet far away.
Lost is a precious thing as we
Pretend to walk on the love way.
The trick of eyes
And flutter of heart
The sensational love is now
Playing invisible tricks.
Side-by-side we sit
In the movie hall
Though hand in hand
But something is wrong.
The movie song goes on mute
The video goes blank
And our hands untwine.
Time just passed us by
Traveled somewhere else
Where two hearts meet
While our nest it abandons.
…Time just passed us by
Oceans welling up in the eye
As we realize that time just passed us by.
A good example to say that cine life is not real life. In Cinema he may be a hero, but in real life he may be a zero. Same in the case of the heroine, who appears as a role model in the film, but another zero in the real life.Preeti you are great.

I remembered some days from the life goneby.... I had purchased 2 tickets to the cinema & imagined the seat next was she, there was the hand of the seat but...! You have the capacity to churn the heart and shake the soul..... Hey! I am awake now! A beautifully written poetry. The narration is fabulous. The imagery is just perfect.
