TIME MORE THAN IT GIVES!
Time has been accused by all, often and
many a time,
But to understand its true nature,
One must follow its beat and rhyme!
Time’s passage heals wounds, a balm for
hurt minds,
But it is the worst beautician, you could ever
find!
Those whom its endows with the richness
of beauty and grace,
It crumples and destroys with advancing age!
As they gradually become impoverished with
time,
With their wrinkled-up visage!
Time is the worst of usurers, lending you
its moments and hours,
While you pay the interest with your dear life,
As your years it slowly devours!
But time does not only take, it gives you a
thing or two, -
Your grey-haired matured wisdom,
And loving grandchildren too!
But time is a treacherous teacher,
Who teaces her pupils life long;
To devour them at the end, -
While grooming others - after you are gone!
