Time To Myself Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Time To Myself

Rating: 5.0

Being alone is my saving grace,
That wonderful silence,
The tick of the clock,
Clearing my mind,
Just taking stock,
Of who I am,
Of where I want to be,
Searching through my inner thoughts,
To write some poetry.
Being alone brings back my sanity,
There is turmoil and stress in this world around me,
I don't want to feel lonely,
But I'm needing some space,
Just leave me be,
To be in my own place.

I had my yellow Labrador Clara to help me get over Tina but nobody to help get over Clara when she died, it was like losing a child.
