Tired Night In Your Arms - Poem by Michael P. McParland
It is a tired night my sweet dear
and it's one I would love to spend
snuggling in your loving arms.
Not to sleep my sweet dear but to just have you near,
just be with you in your arms on a tired night
were I feel sluggish and slow and want nothing more
than to just spend it in your arms.
A tired night my sweet dear to just curl up
in bed and watch a movie resting your head next to mine,
or for fun like young kids blow up a big
air mattress in the living room in front
of the TV and watch a film and read.
It is a tired night and I want to
spend it with you holding each other so tight.
A tired evening where I want my Kira
and am lying back wondering if you are alright.
It is such a tired night and I want to be
in your arms and hold you in mine,
a night of complete comfort given and felt
by each other as we lay back and relax.
A tired night with sweet Kira I love
and just want us to be in each others arms.
I am truly sending you all of my love and comfort
and Kira my dear I will be holding you
giving you kisses of total caring and loving passion.
