To A Lover Poem by Soumita Sarkar

To A Lover

Rating: 5.0

Feeling your bare presence in loneliness
Longing to hold you in sweet dizziness
That one friend I want to have forever
Wish we could spend this life together

You are near somewhere not so far
Yet I keep searching you everywhere
Your soul connects with me so strong
Yet this distance between is a thorn

Pray I your eyes could also see
The light of love I lit inside me
See the way my dreams welcome you
May my waiting day get slim and few.
