A wicked wife and fraudulent friend,
Nursing venomous grouse,
Rogue servants flouting your fair command,
Rodents infested house,
Snake lurking after mouse,
Fuel tries when fire to douse,
What you think might happen? Beyond mend:
Disaster ending with death dear friend!

You have a point, your observation is in place. The poet imagines living in a house with a wife with a grouse and having an affair with your friend; the servants also flout your command; on top of it the house is infested with mice, to chase which a serpent is lurking.... What you think might happen if not a disaster?
