To Hold Her Again Poem by Shaun Cronick

To Hold Her Again

Rating: 5.0

Running through a red light,
Speeding through a dark night.
Driving through relentless rain,
Desperate to hold her again.

Byway, freeway,
Tearing up the motorway.
Slow lane, fast lane,
Desperate to hold her again.

Never feeling so alone,
In this sad world of stone.
Constant hurt, constant pain,
Desperate to hold her again.

Will I make it time will tell,
Making minutes up in this Hell.
Her love awaits to entertain,
Desperate to hold her again.
