To Prove What I Could Do Could Be Done Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

To Prove What I Could Do Could Be Done

Rating: 5.0

If it had not been for my parents,
I doubt very seriously...
I would have sought reasons to rebel.
Especially when I threatened as a child,
To run away from home on many occasions.
And I was reminded...
More than once,
Whatever I chose to do...
They did not need a two week notice,
To prove what I could do could be done.

'You don't love me! '

~You don't know that until you leave.
Give us the opportunity to miss you first.~
