To Step Away From Dark Shadows Poem by Shaun Cronick

There are certain comments,
That do read borderline snidely.
Two easy ways to interpret them,
My response is extremely unlikely.

It is best not to reply,
To constant malice or hate.
So I just simply delete them,
And never take their bait.

It seems to really upset them,
For they repeatedly try again.
Forever trying to get my goat,
For they all do try in vain.

There's always hope they'll change,
One most warmly welcomed sunny day.
To step away from dark shadows,
Into the light to pave their way.
