To Stoke The Spirit Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

To Stoke The Spirit

Rating: 5.0

At times when in my life
The inner fire goes faint
With you in my presence
It kindles a fresh flame.

And I ever feel grateful
To have you in my life
To stoke up fire of my spirit,
O upholder of my spirit.

I know not how to deal
With life sans you O Will.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I'm sure many must have formed an idea as to who the subject matter of this little poem is until the last two lines come to surprise. Human mind is prejudiced, and moves in a set groove.

Sometimes life goes out of pitch, then we feel that the fire within us is getting extinguished. But our Will can rekindle the fire by activating our spirit! Beautifully put!
