What breaks your heart?
When all is known to you,
Yourself, in choice,
When you choose to love,
And time apart as sometimes that happens,
When keeping up with each other,
Put distance between you,
And when you are not there,
Loves temptations moves in,

What happens in one person's life,
Will differ from another,
For when separated from one and another,
Will bring one of the other,
In different paths to the other,
Temptations plays it course
Will trust prevail,
When love is love,

One and one,
That makes two,
A couple,
That makes two of one,
A loving couple,
Yet,
When love leaves or goes astray,
It, leaves the other hurting,
For what once was,
Love,
With trust and understanding,
Left to question,

Tis,
Then,
You will know,
And also understand,
What breaks your heart,
Is the love,
You still love,
Yet love has gone astray,

For to set someone free,
Is to have been loved,
And sometimes lost,
For love has no chains,
It is to give,
And in giving,
Receiving back,
Love from love,

Now left to understand,
Is to understand what breaks your heart,
When you are left to pick up the pieces,
Listen and know it hurts,
For love is a trust,
When you allow someone into your heart,
You take that chance it will break your heart,
But to love and have lost,
Is best to have not loved at all,
To understand love,
Is to understand what breaks your heart.
