Tolerance. Patience And Expectations Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Tolerance. Patience And Expectations

Few and often less,
Will await with kept patience.
If at all to have this left.
Would be found sitting,
Until the antics...
Of a child gone wild.
Begins to affect,
Everyone living in the household.
With a doing allowed,
As if to rule with an attitude...
Uncontrollable and nonstopped.

Nor should anyone accept to believe,
An adult with a mind of a child.
And for several decades aging.
Doing what they please.
To fraud and deceive.
Is that one deserving to receive,
Tolerance.
Patience.
Or to come from those still conscious,
Expectations.
Faithful expectations of a shown behavior,
Will miraculously change overnight.

So heroic are those loyal.
Stubbornly convinced,
They are not the ones made fools.

Yet...
Many clinging onto the edge of possibilities.
Are hopeful to notice a difference made.
Before that adult with a mind of a child,
Think it would be fun...
To stomp on the fingers,
Of the ones daring to remain positive!
And...
Believe it or not,
They are among few...
Who had recently survived,
Having their loyalty crushed under a bus!
What on Earth can be in the wine,
These people find...
Addicting and delicious to sip! ?
