Tough Tree Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Tough Tree

G-ray haze and fog
A-re nowhere in view;
Y-our life is truly far away from the blue.

E-arly twenty-first February
L-ets the new dawn break;
A-llowing the sun to warm,
M-ending your heartache.
P-ouring rain and tears
A-re vanishing slowly;
R-emain firm like a root
O-f the old tough tree.
