TRACING POET'S TRACINGS

Creative talents need not presuppose
life's web is spun within dim hermit's cell.
Approaches vary. Magic words work spell
unleashing energy as spirit glows,
evolves, chance seeds of challenge-change soul sows,
sloughs off Time's mask, sheds superficial shell.
Creative insight rises, rings rhyme's bell
loud and clear here, brings winged pattern, grows
though fountains fair, felicitous poet knows
may separate true, false, cue tunes, [l]ink well
with harmony innate, sought not to sell,
true resonance attuned fans fresh air flows.
Chance offers insight into Time and Space,
Change adds momentum, poet traces place.
