Trade You Poem by Heart of Ice Die Die Die

Trade You

I want to claw
and tear out my heart.
It hurts too much,
for me to bear anymore.
Broken
and smashed to bits a million times over.
If anyone payed close enough attention
and if you watched my face
you could see it splinter
and then shatter.
Covered in stitches,
x's and patches cover it,
band-aids galore,
broken arrows and torn out parts,
thorns, glass, and barbwire
no wait!
There's more.
Tears, holes, scars, cuts, and slashes.
And the blood,
can't forget that.
Slowly, (oh so slowly)
dripping on to the ground.
Oozing almost.
You wanna trade?
I didn't think so.
